A Day For Memories!

I spent my day off at Brown's Independant in Stittsville scrapping with good friends!  We had a blast.  I got started (with the help of Cindy) on my Project Life Photos.  She gave me a refresher on using the Creative Memories Digital program -  Story Book Creator.  This digital stuff is amazing.  So is Cindy!

A LIVESTRONG CHRISTMAS

I love ornaments. My tree can tell a story with every ornament on my tree.  This year we are looking forward to Mark running the London Marathon for LIVESTRONG. We are raising funds and hope to raise $2,500 in donations.  So it was only perfect that I got him this one!  And yes, I know it is late to still have my tree up!

O Christmas Tree! 

This is my tree - three ways.  I was so happy to get my tree up this year.  I hadn't seen some of these ornaments in 2 years!  (we didn't have a tree last year) We put it in the family room and it just fit.  It has almost become our "travel tree", it is filled with ornaments from every trip we have taken.  I confess, I am a little obsessed with collecting them.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE FIN!

I got my Christmas card from my BFF Michelle in the mail today.  What a precious photo of Finely Mae on her 1st Christmas.  She also sent me a beautiful heart ring (unfortunately it broke in the mail) but I will glue it to a frame with the picture in it! My heart grew when I opened this card.

Sens vs. Bruins

We had a great night with Grant and Leslie at the Sens game, even though they lost 4-1.  We went for dinner at the Marbourough Pub and Jason arranged a school bus to take everyone to the game. Kim and Jason were great hosts all night!  It cost $30 for a cab home - unreal $!

Brett's Hockey Game

We went out to see my oldest nephew Brett (he's #9) play hockey tonight.  He got 1 assist and then the game ended because the referee got injured.  The game was called but they still won 4-1.

Plaques of Pride

For Christmas this year I ordered Mark his 4th plaque for the Chicago Marathon.  We finally hung them all on the wall and I am so proud of him.  What an accomplishment!  There is still room on the wall for London and Berlin!

My Christmas Nativity

For the last few years I have been collecting all the pieces.  This year Kim gave me my last 2, the ox, goat, and angel stand...now it is complete.  All I have to do is find my angel.  It is here somewhere... I hope to find it by next Christmas.

New Years Day 2010

(well...really early in the morning, maybe 1:00 a.m.)

We started off the night with a lovely dinner at Grant and Leslie's with Mom.  We headed over to Sean and Krista's to ring in 2010 with Sean & Krista, Kim & Tim (Hannah & Callum got up too!), Brandi & Dave, and Marc & Barb.  It was a fantastic night.
